How to Enrol

We enjoy welcoming new families to our South Pine Community Kindergarten and endeavour to make the process as easy as possible for you.  Families do not need to come from a particular catchment area to enrol their child at our kindergarten.

1. Take a Tour

We warmly invite prospective families to visit South Pine Community Kindergarten and discover our nurturing and inspiring learning environment. The best way to experience what makes our kindy special is by joining a tour led by our friendly and knowledgeable staff.

You are also most welcome to join us at our annual Open Day which is a wonderful opportunity to meet our team and see the kindy in person.

2. Complete the Waiting List Form

To place your child on our waiting list, please complete the waiting list form.

3. Waiting List

  • The booking fee secures your child’s place on our waiting list for the year they are eligible to attend.

  • Please note: placement on the waiting list does not guarantee a position if there are more applicants than available places.

  • We accept applications from birth and strongly encourage early submission to avoid disappointment.

4. Offers of a Place

  • We begin contacting families in July of the year before your child is due to attend.

  • Once an offer is made, families have two weeks to confirm their place.

5. Getting Started

To support a smooth start to kindergarten life, we offer:

      • Orientation afternoons for each of our class groups during Term 4 of the year prior to starting.
      • A Parent Orientation Evening to introduce our program and approach.
      • A welcome play before kindy starts in January.
